The Sevenoaks region are very pleased to have secured detailed planning permission for a new development of 78 homes on the site of the former Driving Range in Herne Bay, Canterbury.
Working with our partners including DHA Planning Group and gdm architects, we engaged constructively with Canterbury City Council and other stakeholders throughout the planning process.
Having submitted the application in April this year, we’re delighted to have secured permission swiftly, which is a huge credit to the design team.
The development adheres to the Council’s affordable housing policy, and all the homes will be built with sustainability in mind – every home will feature an electric car charging point, dedicated cycle storage and PV panels.
The site was originally promoted through the current Canterbury local plan by the landowners Hollamby Estates advised by Kingsgate Property Consultants and VLH Associates.
We look forward to work getting underway on site in the early part of next year.
