About the role

The Senior/Land Manager will sit within the Solihull Land Team reporting into the Land & Partnerships Director and is responsible for assisting in identifying, evaluating and securing land for residential development, working closely with the senior members of the land team to support the Company’s land objectives by achieving and maintaining a quality land bank.

Skills & Experience

Key Responsibilities

Undertake initial market evaluation of proposed sites
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key local agents and stakeholder
Produce thought through land assessments & viabilities
Site searching and identifying new land opportunities
Assist in negotiations with agents and landowners
Contribute towards negotiating terms for acquisition
Working on progressing planning applications
Build relationships with local agents, landowners, local authorities, Housing Associations and BTR partners

Skills Required

Degree Qualified
Minimum 3 years experience in Land and Development with a demonstratable track record of acquiring land within the Midlands
A strong network of contacts in the land agency world
Proactive attitude and determined
Ability to work autonomously
Determined and ambitious
