Partnering with local authorities and registered providers to create sustainable and thriving communities, for mixed tenure use, is a core commitment and an area of the business that continues to grow.
We have long-standing relationships with housing associations, local authorities and private landowners which has led to numerous successful partnerships, providing a variety mixed use developments.
Our partnerships approach is designed to be flexible to the changing needs of our stakeholders and the areas in which we operate, while ensuring long-term financial sustainability and growth.
At our site in Newhall, we partnered with Sage Homes to deliver a range of affordable rent and share ownership properties, including two, three and four-bedroom homes. This marks the fourth partnership scheme between Stonebond and Sage, which now totals over 100 homes. The ongoing partnership is testament to both business’s commitment to building more affordable homes.
“We are delighted to have completed this 100% affordable housing development at Newhall and handed over the homes to our partner Sage. Throughout the build period we worked closely with Jon and William Moen and the Newhall project team to make sure our new development was in keeping with the site’s masterplan. We’re pleased to have also been able to support local employment and provide training opportunities and apprenticeships that benefit the local area.”

The Appleyard is an exclusive development of 34 mixed-tenure homes, in the sought-after village of Flitton. Our partnership with settle delivered 12 affordable homes across affordable rent and shared ownership.
Flitton is the second project we’ve delivered with Settle, having already completed and handed over 25 new affordable homes in Shepreth, South Cambridgeshire.
We’re also looking forward to working in partnership at one of our newest developments – Linmere – which will provide 202 affordable homes, including affordable rent and shared ownership.
“There is no better feeling to see new residents move into their homes and the joy that brings them. Through our partnership with settle we’ve built another fantastic mixed-tenure development at The Appleyard, and we’re delighted to be moving forward with our latest development in Linmere, which will make a significant contribution to the area’s affordable housing supply.”

The Manchester team recently entered into an open-ended agreement with Great Places to deliver an initial 600 homes, with the possibility for more in the future. The partnership with Great Places we allow redevelopment of brownfield sites across Greater Manchester and Cheshire into much needed affordable homes.
“Our two businesses share the same ethos and approach to affordable housing delivery, as well as build quality, and together we can make a major and long-term contribution to the North West’s affordable housing provision.”

Ghyllgrove Close marks the second time Stonebond and Sempra have worked together, and once complete the development will include a collection of 34 two, three and four bedroom houses.
“It’s good to see these new, mixed tenure affordable homes are a step closer now that demolition work is underway. The new development is a great example of how we can work in partnership with Sempra to regenerate this redundant brownfield site and create a beautiful new place to live. The homes have been designed with energy efficiency in mind, which will have a positive impact on household bills, as well as the environment more broadly.”
