Graham started his career over 40 years ago at Countyside, where he was later joined by his brother, Richard. He held the position of Group Chief Executive from 1996 to 2013 before taking on the roles of Chief Executive of Housebuilding and then Partnerships. Throughout his career his focus was to build a company who set the standards for the industry and community building and this is evident in the culture at Stonebond today.
Grahams' aim for the future is to expand the business to create more sustainable homes people are proud to call home.
Richard has extensive experience within the new homes market after a 35 year long career within the industry. Like Graham, Richard became passionate about building new homes when he started his career 35 years ago with Countryside, a company founded by their father. He sat on the board in 1986 and progressed to Chief Executive of the Partnerships Division, before leaving Countryside to focus on the growth of Stonebond
Andrew was appointed as Group CEO in May 2021 to lead the strategic direction and regional growth of the business. He previously held the roles of COO and CFO at Stonebond and has over 15 years’ of industry experience having previously worked in senior positions at listed housebuilders - Berkeley Group plc and Countryside Properties plc. He is a chartered accountant by background and has significant experience in leading operations, implementing business strategy and managing financial performance including delivering schemes in partnership with HA / PRS providers having been a JV Board Member on 5 separate developments jointly delivered with L&Q, Notting Hill & Home Group whilst at Countryside.
Cara holds more than 20 years’ boardroom experience with both Plc and private companies, with many of these operating in housebuilding and construction.
Cara is currently Non-Executive Director of Glenveagh Properties Plc, a leading Irish housebuilder which has successfully developed and grown its own partnerships activity. Glenveagh is Listed on Euronext Dublin and the London Stock exchange.
Alexandra joined Stonebond in June 2020. Her appointment marked a key milestone for the business, setting up an in-house legal department to service all legal requirements. She works closely with the Board of Directors and all departments to ensure a seamless transition from land purchase through to completion of sales.
Alexandra has over ten years’ experience working within both private practice and in-house legal functions. She specialises in all aspects of real estate law, bringing a breadth of experience which is an invaluable asset to the team as we continue to grow.
Before joining the industry, Edd worked in technology for Apple, having studied Architecture at the University of Sheffield.
Edd’s career at Stonebond started as the company’s very first graduate where he rotated between teams to gain a full understanding of the business.
In the years since, he has worked in Land Buying and Business Development roles, and has been heavily involved in the establishment and growth of Stonebond’s new regional operations.
In his current role, Edd is responsible for Stonebond Group’s IT, Product, ESG and Corporate PR activities.
He has a special interest in ESG, where he is actively reviewing Stonebond’s sustainability commitments as well as analysing emerging trends and new innovations to enhance Stonebond’s product.
Deepen joined Stonebond in June 2021 with over 15 years of financial reporting and control experience from a Banking and Treasury background. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant having completed his training at a big 4 financial services firm. Deepen has extensive experience in delivering and managing financial performance, business partnering and financial reporting having previously spent over 10 years at Natwest Banking Group. He will be a valuable addition to the senior executive team at Stonebond.
Stuart has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry with 13 years in a Health and Safety role, predominantly in the housing sector covering multi storey and new build developments. The majority of his Health and Safety career has been spent at NHBC, as a Health and Safety consultant and NHBC H&S awards judge, and at Bellway Homes as a Regional Health and Safety Manger supporting multiple divisions at any one time.
Stuart's role at Stonebond is to develop and maintain the Group Health, Safety and Environmental management system, support all Regional offices in their operations, from land purchase to completion of developments, and grow the in-house Health and Safety department.
Robert joined Stonebond in January 2021 as Managing Director of the Chelmsford business. He has significant experience of delivering both private housing developments and Land Led Partnerships having previously held the position of Managing Director at Countryside Properties East London.
Since joining, the Chelmsford business has grown four-fold with a significant number of new projects in development and many more in the pipeline. Robert is committed to the delivery of quality homes across all tenures and building and maintaining excellent relationships with all our stakeholders.
David joined the Stonebond team in 2008 and has played an instrumental part in guiding the ongoing growth of the Company. He has over 20 years experience in the industry and, as Land and Planning Director, David is tasked with leading and overseeing the ongoing management of Stonebond’s development pipeline for the Chelmsford region, with a focus on promoting key stakeholder relationships that enable development schemes to be brought to fruition. David has experience of partnering arrangements having overseen the completion of Stonebond’s first partnership forward funded deal for Springfield Road in Chelmsford with Home Group.
Annette joined Stonebond in February 2020 having worked in the industry for 20 years. Her career started with five years at Countryside Properties before joining Crest Nicholson where she held the role of Sales and Marketing Director for the last 12 years. Annette is accomplished in devising and delivering robust sales and marketing strategies, building and motivating a loyal team and delivering high levels of customer service.
Matt joined Stonebond in April 2021 having enjoyed a career within the industry spanning of 25 years, most recently for Redrow Homes (London). Matt brings thorough knowledge of construction methods, technical and legal agreements as well Health, Safety and Environmental issues relating to house building.
Tony brings a wealth of experience, having worked previously at Higgins for 6 years and prior to that, Countryside for 13 years. He is well known in the industry for safely delivering high-quality new homes on time, every time.
Dani joined Stonebond in 2020, having worked in Customer Care for over 10 years. Her career started with 5 years at Countryside Properties, where she gained a degree in Construction Management and a certificate in Building Surveying.
Dani is experienced in quality control, leading a successful and loyal team and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
Peter joined Stonebond in October 2020, bringing 16 years of experience from a successful career at Countryside Properties. He is a Chartered Surveyor and Town Planner by background and recently held the position of Development & Land and Planning Director.
Peter will be responsible for establishing and growing regional operations in St Albans and will be a valuable addition to the Senior Management Team at Stonebond.
Amelia joined the family business in April 2020 as the first employee of the St Albans Region following its inception, joining from her previous role in Land at Countryside Properties.
As a Chartered Surveyor and holding a degree in Architecture, Amelia brings a wealth of experience in leading the team to secure a pipeline of developments for the Region.
Neil has been a chartered Construction Manager with the CIOB and brings 20 years of experience in house building to the team. He joined Stonebond last year following a successful 7 years at Kier Living and Bloor Homes.
Neil is also a qualified Principal Designer along with CIRIA Environmental training.
Tristan joined Stonebond in April 2021 having previously worked with three of the biggest national housing developers across the UK for the past 16 years.
Tristan will be responsible for managing all Construction operations within the region, Tristan brings great operational experience to ensure all developments have a consistent approach in delivering the high standards of health & safety, quality & workmanship, and Customer Service required.
James joined Stonebond in 2018 having previously worked for Tern Development 7 years prior. In 2020 James joined the new St Albans region to set up the Commercial Department.
James brings a wealth of experience in estimating, surveying and material buying and is responsible for all aspects of the Commercial Department from pre-construction through to final accounts
Matt joined Stonebond in January 2022 as Managing Director of the Guildford region. Matt, a Chartered Planning & Development Surveyor by background, started his career over 15 years ago with Countryside Properties, first a Sponsorship Trainee whilst at university and then a Graduate Management Trainee.
After several successful years at Countryside post qualification, Matt has since held senior roles with Abimara, and most recently Berkeley Homes as Land Director operating across the Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire regions.
Greg joined Stonebond in April 2021, he brings over 10 years’ worth of relevant experience in land, planning, development and partnerships deals in the Kent & Sussex areas for both Countryside and Barratt David Wilson, and is a Chartered Planning & Development Surveyor by background.
Jonathan joined Stonebond in November 2022 as Managing Director of the Solihull region. He holds more than 20 years’ experience of housebuilding across the Midlands, having worked previously for CALA Homes, McCarthy Stone and Spitfire Homes. Most recently he was Managing Director of Seven Homes.
Jonathan will be looking to expand Stonebond’s growing Solihull operation, which is expected to deliver more than 500 homes per annum across the Midlands within the next four years. As part of this he will establish new partnerships with housing providers and local authorities, in line with the land led strategy.
Daniel joined the Stonebond team having previously worked as Land Director at Bellway Homes & CALA Homes. Daniel has over a decade’s experience of land acquisition, planning and development throughout the Midlands.
As Land and Partnerships Director, Daniel is tasked with leading and overseeing the ongoing management of Stonebond’s development pipeline for the Solihull region working collaboratively with our development partners.
Tim has over 20 years’ experience within the Residential Development industry, having worked across the West, East and South Midlands for both private and Plc housebuilders. Tim has led Commercial Departments since 2015 for various companies, joining Stonebond in August 2021 having previously held the position of Development Director at Avant Homes.
Tim is a Corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply. He has previously worked as a Materials Buyer, Quantity Surveyor and Estimator and is responsible for these functions and all aspects of the Commercial Department for Stonebond Solihull
