The homes, which have been delivered in partnership with Sage Homes, England’s largest provider of newly built affordable homes, are offered in affordable rent and shared ownership tenures, and include two, three and four-bedroom homes.
Newhall marks the fourth partnership scheme between Stonebond and Sage, which now totals over 100 homes. The ongoing partnership is testament to both business’s commitment to building more affordable homes.
The new development forms the penultimate parcel at Newhall, a significant urban extension of Harlow in the west of Essex originally conceived by landowning brothers Jon and William Moen, which will eventually provide 2,300 new homes.
Stonebond worked closely with the Newhall project team to match their vision for the masterplan, which envisioned tree lined avenues, green open space and a palette of natural colours and materials.
Additionally, the construction of the homes supported local employment and provided training opportunities and apprenticeships, benefitting the local area and its community.
